THE 25 DEGREES VERDICT
At my table, we were all excited to order. Three of us had the Number One, which had caramelized onions, prelibato gorganzola, crescenza, bacon, arugula and thousand island dressing on it. The other two at my table ordered the number three which had mezzo secco jack, green chili, chipotle and avacado. Honestly, the scores speak for themselves. I was pretty disappointed by how the bun was too big, overpowering the hamburger. The ingredients looked great on paper but they weren’t implemented very well. They weren’t evenly distributed. At one point, I took a bite and it was all gorgonzola! Ingredient distribution is so imperative when putting together a hamburger. Halfway through eating the burger, it was getting more difficult to hold as the bun started to come apart. The french fries were average but the onion rings were very tasty. They had an amazing crunch with just the right amount of seasoning. 25 Degrees is definitely a nice spot with great ambiance but I felt the burger just didn’t make the cut.
